The Audi Q2 is a robust, sporty all-around vehicle as its design indicates at the first glance: It is sporty, elongated, and powerful at the same time, and its corners and edges give it an even more confident appearance. The compact SUV measures 4.21 meters in length, 17 millimeters more than before. The wheelbase of 2.589 meters, the width of 1.79 meters, and the height of 1.55 meters have remained the same. The drag coefficient with sport suspension is 0.31 – a top-of-the-range result in the small SUV segment.

The Audi designers have now applied the motif of the polygon, which already characterized the front and shoulder line, to the rear end as well: The bumper has an integrated angular diffuser insert with large pentagons on both sides. The front has also been modified, and the surfaces below the headlights now have a more distinctive shape. The large implied air inlets, which are also pentagonal, also appear even more expressive, especially in the optional S line equipment line. The octagonal Singleframe is slightly lower than before, making the front section appear wider.

The compact SUV is launched in Vietnam with an eight-speed S tronic automatic transmission coupled to the 1.4 TFSI petrol engine delivering 110 kW (150 horse power) and producing 250 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm. At low loads and engine speeds, its efficiency system, cylinder on demand (COD), temporarily deactivates the second and third cylinders. The eight-speed S tronic transmission is standard. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.5 seconds. Peak speed reaches 212 km/h. In combined mode, the refined four-cylinder engine consumes as low as 7.27 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers as measured by Vietnam Register.

The Audi Q2 is an agile compact SUV. Progressive steering, which becomes increasingly direct as the steering movement increases, ensures excellent handling while maneuvering and a great driving experience on winding roads. The wishbones and MacPherson suspension struts guide the front wheels, and a torsion-beam structure is installed in the rear. With 20 centimeters of ground clearance, the compact SUV does well on unpaved roads. The ESC stabilization control has an integrated off-road mode. The Audi Q2 comes with 17-inch alloy wheels in 5-spoke V-style 7.0 J x 17 design and 215/55 R17 tires.

The driver gets all key visual information conveniently at the front in color over the analog instrument display. MMI radio plus makes all comfort control easily accessible, including air conditioning and entertainment functions. It includes a DAB tuner and a seven-inch color display. Audi Music Interface and Bluetooth are standard. Audi parking aid plus system and the reversing camera assist the driver to manoeuver in complex situations.

In the spacious interior of the Audi Q2, five passengers can get in with ease and seat in a comfortably elevated position. The Audi Q2 seats come in a combination of leather and artificial leather on all five seats. The seat upholstery is generally kept in black. The interior design echoes the taut design language of their exterior. The air vents with their jet design, and the selector lever have a new look. The Audi Q2 is equipped with the white ambient lighting package: a trim strip provides elegant backlighting on the instrument panel and knee pads on the center console. The grey tinted windscreen uses heat resistant glass, like all windows. The luggage compartment of the compact SUV can handle an unchanged 405 liters, expanding to 1,050 liters when the rear seat backs are folded down.

Five new trendy body colors have been added to the Audi Q2 color palette: Apple green is celebrating its premiere with the brand, and Manhattan gray, Navarra blue, arrow gray, and turbo blue are newly available for the compact SUV. In the Audi Q2 S line in Vietnam, the blades are painted in Selenite Silver, the attachments and mirror housings are in the body color, plus the front entries feature illuminated aluminum strips. The upgraded Q2 illuminates the road with redesigned LED headlights at the front, and LED lights at the rear.

With 1st place victories in five categories, Audi achieved a major success in the 33rd edition of the Auto Trophy readers’ poll organized by Auto Zeitung magazine in November 2020. The A1 Sportback, A3 Sportback, Q2, Q8, and e-tron Sportback models each won in their categories. 18,811 readers of Auto Zeitung voted on the best brands and models from a total of 442 cars in 21 categories. Auto Trophy 2020 Winner, the Audi Q2 emerged as the victorious compact SUVs with 17.4 percent of the votes.

In Vietnam, the Audi Q2 is available in either Basic or S line version.
The Audi Q2 S line includes S line bumpers in full paint finish, scuff plates with aluminium inserts in front door, illuminated with “S” logo, blade in Selenite Silver, interior in aluminium look, inlays in Matt brushed aluminium, stainless steel pedals and footrests.

Discriminating Audi Q2 customers can choose the next level, with the optional package designed by Audi Vietnam, which includes sport seats at the front - featuring embossed S logos on the backrest, pronounced side bolsters and accent stripes with contrasting stitching in gray and black - inlays in light graphic format with backlit, trim strip on the instrument panel and the knee pads on the center console with the light shining through numerous millimeter-sized openings, up to ten colors ambient lighting, cruise control, Audi sound system and first aid kit. The optional Q2 package for Vietnam can be ordered with either the standard Q2 or Q2 S line.

To maintain the Audi Q2 in tip top condition and ensure peace of mind, Audi Vietnam is proposing the optional Audi Care - three years regular maintenance - Deluxe and Premium packages, respectively over 50,000 and 90,000 kilometers. Skilled Audi technicians with access in real time to Audi systems in Audi Hanoi, Audi Danang and Audi Ho Chi Minh City service, in full compliance with the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance, the Audi Q2 using genuine Audi parts: engine oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel delivery filter, seal ring, spark plugs and brake fluid. The new Audi Care maintenance package applies to new Audi cars – Q2, Q3, Q3 Sportback, A4, Q5, A6, A7 Sportback, Q7 and Q8 – as per the conditions which apply in Vietnam.

Like all Audi models in Vietnam, the new Audi Q2 benefits from three years of warranty with unlimited mileage during that period. The new Audi Q2 eye catching look will make heads turn in Vietnam, customer deliveries will start at Audi Ho Chi Minh City, Audi Danang and Audi Hanoi in April 2021.
