Launching today the new Audi RS e-tron GT, Audi Vietnam extends its range of all-electric quattro models to three with Audi e-tron GT and Audi e-tron SUV. Whether SUV or sportscar, Audi’s all-electric portfolio points the way forward not only in terms of drive and performance, but also in design and finish. The SUV and these two high-performance grand tourers are now available at Audi dealerships in Vietnam heralding in a new era for the brand in the S shape country, and if the styling isn’t enough to win you over, then a stint behind the wheel most certainly will.

On April 19th, 2023, Audi Vietnam opens in Ho Chi Minh City the first fast premium charging lounge in Vietnam, demonstrating how charging and living with electric can and will look in the future. Audi Vietnam had already made fast charging available in Audi Tan Binh, this latest and new example of a high-speed Audi Charging Lounge showcases over three all-electric e-tron quattro models - SUV, GT and RS GT - in a dedicated showroom on Ton Duc Thang Street in District 1.

The new Audi Charging Lounge features indoor high-voltage fast charging ABB 180 kW (DC) where two Audi cars can charge simultaneously and is future ready expandable to accommodate more high voltage charging stations.

After Audi Tan Binh which opened in July 2022, the 180 KW DC fast charging station ABB Terra 184 in the new Audi Charging Lounge right in District 1 makes Audi customers enjoy DC 180 kW fast charging their car can fully in up to 20-30 minutes, or two cars can charge simultaneously for extra-convenience.

It’s another way Audi is looking at ways of streamlining its e-mobility offering and making electric vehicle ownership easier. The new Audi Charging Lounge in Ho Chi Minh City combines convenient charging, four all-electric car models on display for easy discovery, and an enjoyable rest area for customers to relax or work. The new Audi Charging Lounge demonstrates Audi’s innovative ways of looking at how charging infrastructure can be developed to slot easily into urban environments in Vietnam and can literally change the way people view charging and living with electric in the future.

Reflecting the Audi brand’s “#Future Is An Atttidude” vision, the new Audi Charging Lounge design embodies that warm and cosy, yet progressive atmosphere over 550 square meters in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. All the furniture, materials, lighting, leather, colors and even plants contribute to the overall well-being feel, radiating the latest Audi architecture trends.

“We redesigned completely the space which was the former Audi workshop to turn it into a uniquely elegant, pleasant and spacious Audi Customer Lounge. Combining concrete panels to innovative vertical and horizontal lighting stripes plus the elegant staircase masterpiece really expands the impression of space - exuding that classy and luxury art gallery feeling - where you enjoy time for yourself” confirms Mrs Marielle Genet – Founder and Creative Director of Lifestyle Connected Joint Stock Company who designed the new Audi Charging Lounge.

AUDI AG is to launch internationally over 20 e-models by 2025, more electric cars than models with combustion engines this year, keeping with the brand’s long-term plans that will see Audi achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. In 2022, AUDI AG sold worldwide 118,196 electric cars, forty-four per cent (+44%) more than in 2021. The persistent, strong demand for electric vehicles means the share of fully electric vehicles delivered rose from 4.8 percent in the previous year to 7.2 percent. With the launch of the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), Audi is emphasizing its commitment to becoming the leading provider of connected, fully electric premium mobility. Developed together with Porsche, the platform is a key component for expanding Audi’s global range of electric cars. The future Q6 e-tron model series, the Group’s first production model to be based on the PPE, will be unveiled in the second half of 2023.

In Vietnam, three models currently represent the range of all-electric cars, by the end of 2023, the new Audi Q8 e-tron quattro will be reaching Vietnam.

The Audi e-tron 50 SUV quattro delivers up to 230 kW and 540 Nm of torque almost immediately, going from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. On a single charge, the autonomy can reach 334 kilometers (WLTP).

World Performance Car Of The Year 2022, the Audi e-tron GT quattro produces 350kW and 630 Nm of torque - up to 390 kW and 640 Nm in Boost mode for 2.5 seconds - going from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The car autonomy is 488 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge.

Launched on April 19th, 2023, the new Audi RS e-tron GT quattro delivers 440 kW and 830 Nm of torque - up to 475 kW and 830 Nm in Boost mode for 2.5 seconds - sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Its autonomy can reach 472 kilometers (WLTP).

In addition, Audi Ho Chi Minh City and Audi Vietnam official Importer Headquarters in District 1 have now been fully renovated. An attractive fast-charging network is a central component of the comprehensive electric ecosystem for dependable charging that Audi is now starting to offer in the South and will keep expanding in Vietnam. While North Audi Hanoi and Centra – Audi Danang – are earmarked next in 2023- Audi Phu My Hung will be the next charging destination as early in South Vietnam.

Audi RS e-tron GT also benefits from the on going Audi EV promotion until December 31st, 2023. Audi Vietnam offers for free to all customers ordering and paying in full their new Audi e-tron SUV, Audi e-tron GT or Audi RS e-tron GT an ABB 11kW (AC) for extra convenience in home charging. This is in addition to the portable Audi charging device already included in each Audi car.

All Audi e-tron models benefits from a three-year warranty with no limit on mileage during that period, the battery warranty is eight years or 160,000 kilometers.
