Family-owned multinational Pon Holdings is taking over import, sales and after-sales activities for the Audi brand in Vietnam. Pon employs over 15,000 people worldwide and operates renowned brands and over 110 businesses in automotive, the bike industry, heavy equipment, power systems and agricultural services. Pon is a long-standing partner of Audi and the Volkswagen Group, both in Europe and the United States. After entering the market through Pon Phu Thai Mobility, importing and retailing Jaguar Land Rover, the partnership with Audi is a logical next step for Pon. After successfully building up its presence for 15 years in the Vietnamese market, Audi will take the next step in its development together with Pon Holdings. Effective November 1st, and with full support from Audi AG and existing Audi Vietnam shareholder Mr. Tran Tan Trung, Pon has acquired a majority stake in Automotive Asia, the official import organization for Audi in Vietnam. The same goes for the official Audi retail organization, with Audi dealerships in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Binh and Danang. “I am looking forward to further expand the Audi brand in Vietnam together”, says Mr. Trung.

Mobility expert
