Audi Vietnam extends new car warranty as a goodwill gesture

Ho Chi Minh City, September 17th 2021

  • Audi Vietnam supports Audi car owners during Covid-19 epidemic by extending their new Audi car warranties by three months

Audi Vietnam is offering to Audi customers three months new car warranty extension at no cost as prevention long lockdown make them unable to visit an Audi dealership and report their warranty claims due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

The new car warranty extension applies nationwide in Vietnam to all Audi cars imported by the official Audi Vietnam importer whose new car warranty are still valid and were sold by Audi Vietnam official Dealer between July 1st 2018 and June 30th 2021.

The period for the extension ends three months after the expiration of the original new car warranty.

While lockdowns contribute to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, they also make life more complicated for the whole community in Vietnam. Thus by extending the warranty for three months, Audi Vietnam is doing is its part in supporting Audi customers in a fair manner.

“We are reaching out to our customers in these trying times and this three months warranty extension is a fair decision enabling more flexibility for them to visit our Audi dealerships”, says Tran Tan Trung Audi Vietnam official Dealer General Director.

“When Audi Hanoi, Audi Danang and Audi Ho chi Minh City workshops are allowed to re-open, this supporting measure will give time to adjust in a number of areas in order to ensure our customers still have a premium experience with the Audi brand, and also support our operations.”

All the above mentioned measures are one-time and voluntary goodwill measures which have been introduced due to the circumstances created by the Covid-19 crisis. These measures are not a recognition of any legal obligation and do not imply any such obligation in the future.
