Audi Vietnam in partnership with Häfele to bring FC Bayern Legends to Vietnamese football fans

Worldwide Audi AG is a regional, national and international partner in top-caliber sports. For decades, Audi has been a close partner and sponsor of regional, national and international sports including football, sailing, winter sports such as ski and the world’s most popular amateur golf tournament series „quattro Cup“. Because with quattro all conditions are perfect conditions, Audi sport sponsorship demonstrates the sporting performance and dynamism of the brand to an international audience.

In Vietnam, Audi sports sponsoring supported basketball from the early days of Vietnam Basketball League up and is now extending to develop the sport with Audi Basketball League in North Vietnam schools. Audi Vietnam supports sports in Vietnam with a passion and in assuming responsibility for Vietnam sport development.

Since 2002 in Germany for example, Audi and record-holding champion FC Bayern Munich have enjoyed a successful partnership. Every day, the brand with the ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ tagline supports players, coaches and management of Europe's top football clubs. And this summer, Audi Vietnam is delighted to be official transportation for FC Bayern Legends event in Vietnam especially for Mr. Giovane Elber, one of the top 10 stricker in FC Bayern’s history. The event is organized by Häfele Vietnam - the leading providers of hardware, furniture fittings, home appliances, kitchen & bathroom fittings and electronic looking systems to mark the 1st anniversary since Häfele Vietnam became an official partner of Germany’s leading football club in Asia Pacific.

The 45-minute futsal match where Giovane Elber led one team of four to compete against the team led by a legend of Vietnam National Footbal team – Nguyen Anh Duc – will definitely be one of the highlights.

Giovane Elber – the Samba Striker

Born in 1972 in Brazil, Giovane Elber joined FC Bayern in 1997 and is one of the most successful and most loved players in the club’s history. During six years of playing for the Bavarian team, he attended 266 games and scored 140 goals, including 92 in the Bundesliga. In fact, he played a key role in FC Bayern winning four Bundesliga titles (1999, 2000, 2001, 2003), four DFB Cups (1997, 1998, 2000, 2003), the 2001 Champion League, and the 2001 World Club Cup.


FC Bayern Munich is one of the biggest clubs in world football with 652 million supporters worldwide, including more than 1 million in Vietnam. It has a proven track record of developing world-class players and competing in the highest echelons of world football. It also has the best success, being the champion at Bundesliga for 28 times, World Club 2 times, UEFA Champion League 5 times, and UEFA Cup Winners 1 time.
