Audi sales continue to grow worldwide
Audi continues global growth by 4.9% reaching 1,234,900 cars. The Audi A4, Q5, A6 and Q7 continue to sustain the sales growth for Audi. An offensive of new models and new technologies contributes to this commercial success. In Vietnam customers also appreciate the progressive Audi A4 launched last June in Vietnam just 10 months after the worldwide introduction and the all-new Audi Q7 3.0 liters delivering 333 horse power is a real hit with customers. Audi approach to new models development and engine right sizing resulted for instance in the launch of the all-new Audi Q7 with a 2.0 liters TFSI engine.
“AUDI AG continues its product offensive with many innovative technologies including engine rightsizing; the principle of engine rightsizing is about striking the perfect balance between vehicle class, engine displacement, power output, torque and efficiency behavior in everyday conditions” says Laurent Genet, General Director - Audi Vietnam Official Importer – who concludes “Engine rightsizing is the Audi way to go in Vietnam”.
Since the launch of the Q7 2.0 liters engine version last December, Q7 sales are reaching new heights. Customers in Vietnam are thrilled with the new Q7 2.0 TFSI performance and low fuel consumption. Indeed from January to August this year, Audi Q7 sales are overtaking our best-selling model Audi Q5 in Vietnam.
“The Audi Q7 2.0 TFSI quattro we launched last December is a perfect example of rightsizing very successful with customers in Vietnam as the engine delivers performance and fits perfectly with the new special consumption tax situation.” concludes Tran Tan Trung, Audi Vietnam Dealer General Director.
