The architect and designer Jürgen Mayer H., born in 1965, puts his middle name Hermann at the end of his name as an initial. But not only his name is unmistakeable – his works are too. Mayer H. works on the boundaries of architecture and art, technology and design. He studied architecture in Stuttgart, New York and Princeton and founded his own office in Berlin in 1996. Since then he has received many awards for his designs. In 2010, Jürgen Mayer H. was the first winner of the most lucrative German architecture prize, the Audi Urban Future Awards.
